Rowdy Ranks 'em

So my grad school applications are all mailed off. Now it is a 6 month waiting game to see who wants me. I really just want to get in, to almost anywhere I applied. Truth be told I do have my preferences.

Should I get an offer from every school I applied to, this is the order in which I rank my desire to attend them.

#1. Loma Linda University. I can handle the Seventh Day Adventist stuff easily. I like the medical school's reputation and I like how close it is to home. It would make the next two years easier on that front.

#2. Stanford. I'm still in California and I'm attending a school with real value in its name. There is something to be said for the name on your diploma if it comes from a top tier school.

#3. University of Utah. Their PA program is one I'm familiar with and was ranked in the top 10 in the US for multiple years. I have family near there and I like the recreation potential for when I need to decompress.

#4. Yale. Not so sure about living around there. But the lure of an Ivy league degree has a draw that will overcome that.

#5. University of Colorado/Denver. Close to family again. Fun outdoors. Just not a quick drive back home on the weekend. And it is a 36 month program and not a 23 month one as most are.

#6. University of New Mexico, University of Washington and all the others. They all have things I like about them, or else I wouldn't have applied. Push come to shove I would have to make choices. The real trick will be if I do get acceptance offers from more than one school and the choice will be harder if I don't get one of my top 3 offered to me.

This stage is all out of my hands now. I am just going to focus on having fun and being fit this summer and fall in the hopes of next summer and beyond being buried in books.
