Places to go, people to see and things to do. Normally all my 'action' leads to blog posts, but this time I just didn't spare the time. So you are getting a week long mega catch-up post.

Spending lots of time at the rock climbing gym. For every hour I volunteer to help belay at a party, I get a free day pass.

Goofing off in the ocean. Snorkeling, kayaking, chasing sharks. I haven't really been in a surfing mood. Where is the sun San Diego, huh?!?!?!?!

Going on a ride with the SD Cafe Racer club. A bunch of guys with modded British bikes. A fun time. And I seemed to be one of the faster riders, which made me feel good.

Buying a new gun.

Road trip! I've been in Utah for a week riding my downhill bike. Canyons, Deer Valley and Brian Head. It feels like it has been a long time from home, so I'm super ready to be back Super D. I took my brother in law out today for his first dh style bike ride and he did great! It was awesome to see.

Filling out grad school stuff for the schools that have asked me for more information! U of WA, U of CO, Loma Linda, Yale, Pacific, U of UT.

I got a nice haircute. Yep, you read that right. I texted "haircute" rather than haircut, but since I feel like I was cute afterwards, haircute is justified. And you can start using it if you wish as well. I should put in in urbandictionary before someone else does....

There is a new big tournament in the US for jiu jitsu this year. So it has given me motivation to start training with a purpose again. I may not be in love with jiu jitsu again the same way I was, but maybe we can just be friends with benefits.

I went to the fair and ate frog's legs, fried kool-aide, rootbeer icee, strawberry cheese cake fry bread, bbq pork sandwich and something else I'm forgetting. Food amnesia. And of course watched monster trucks! I mean, I had to do something for 4 hours while the housekeeper was at my place.

Visiting family. Oh so fun! Just talking, eating, playing games, swimming and such together. We all live like 700 miles away from each other, so the times I get to see them it is nice.
