occupational therapy 1.A

I had my first OT appointment today. I went to the wrong Kaiser building and was almost 30 minutes late to my appointment once I made it to the correct building. (which was actually closer to my house than where I first went!!)

I have 3 exercises to do and another appointment in a week to asses my grip strength.
We determined that is my main area. For mountain biking, motorcycling, jiu jitsu, rock climbing and my exercise routine, I need to regain my total grip strength and range of motion in two fingers.

My fine motor skills and dexterity are not compromised. So I am thankful for that and I seem to only have 3 tendons that are involved.

I just have 3 exercises to do daily, NSAIDs as needed and tapping it up if i think I am going to do something stressful.

No hard jiu jitsu or climbing until next week..... =(
