A guest at my neighbors backed their SUV into me. First someone 'keys' the Lexus and now the Acura gets a bumper remodel.
Since they didn't leave me a note, I left my neighbor one. We spoke this morning at like 0650 and she assures me it will get taken care of.
One time, I hit someone in a parking lot, it cost me $3,300. My entire savings at the time. I had moved and didn't really take care of my personal business that well and not receiving any car insurance bills I had lapsed and was without coverage. Better to have found out that way than hitting someone on the freeway and totalling my car and killing someone. What a "lesson" that would have been.....
All I know is my car better get fixed and I shouldn't be the one to pay for it. She did try saying it was the result of a poor parking job but I countered that with "and if I had been parallel parked behind you?"
I hate little crappy things like this. They always seem to grow and snowball when you don't want them to.

So, at least you can feel good that you are not the one at fault, no matter what happens. That is always a good feeling. Usually I am the one doing the crashing!
