Healthcare Reform-Rowdystyle

So I had my Remicade infusion today. The cost of the drug alone is over $2,200 bucks. I am there for 3 hours and change with about 2 or 3 people involved in my care, so let's say the total cost is about $2,600.

My HMO should just give me the option of not having the treatment in exchange for half their costs. Rather than my 'costing' the HMO today $2,600 they could have just given me $1,300 and I would skip the infusion.

Think how much money they would save?!?!?!?!
