If you are home alone and watching scary movies all night long in the dark and are now totally frightened, go sleep in the guest bedroom on the floor behind the bed.
The monster, serial killer or evil spirit will not find you there as they expect you to be sleeping in the master bedroom in your regular bed.
Not that I have ever done it, somebody just told me about someone else doing it.
