Rowdy in boots

So I was in brazilian jiu jitsu class last night, doing a judo throw drill, when I dumped a person over my head and shoulders and onto my flexed left foot!!!

A loud pop and me dropping to the floor in agony, moaning and holding my left foot. Fabio came and checked it out and we determined it was not broken. Though I did have two toes that were severely out of joint, so holding my ankle he pulled sharply on each one and "popped" them back into place. Fun. =)

So after my xrays and exams this morning I am on crutches through the weekend and in a 'boot' for one to two weeks, depending on how I heal.

Tournament on July 26th.........?? Looking doubtful. I am going to try and train, from the knees, next week and then just tape my fore foot totally immobile when the tournament comes.

Pics to follow.

  2. Hey Rowdstar! I had no idea about jujitsu or your foot! So sorry. Looks nasty. Guess what, before I changed my background, we chose the same one. We must be related or something. Miss you guys! I will add you immediately to my blog. Love you, Molly
