"Action is the best response to misfortune" is one of the maxims I really feel is worth following.
My first exposure to it was in an UK motorcycle magazine, go figure. The author had realized his dream of writing for motorcycle publications and then in his late 20's developed a degenerative ocular disease and was slowly going blind. As his vision deteriorated he rode what was going to be his last track day, with his father. Up until he was physically unable he was proactive and enjoyed what he loved doing.
A physical disease was his misfortune and continuing to work and enjoy his favorite hobby for absolutely as long as possible was his responding action.
I hope a true version of myself is the same way, using action in response to misfortune. If you read my previous post you know I am jobless. (What is it San Diego??) So rather than pout and whine and bemoan another setback, I have a plan of action to see me through. Short term and long term action!
For the low low price of $49.95 you to can have an action plan! Cash or Pay-Pal. Do it today!! Act now!!

ReplyDeleteAction is always the best solution. Whenever times get hard for us, I always feel like, if I just think about it long enough, or just get creative enough, I will be able to come up with something to make things better.
