Disneyland Dad

Sometimes I think I am a Disneyland dad. You know, the type of non-custodial parent who is all fun and games but no responsibility. I think this happens due to my natural tendency to have fun and the infrequency of visits due to geographic constraints.

Of the things I can remember, this week we have:
-shooting in the desert
-lunch in Julian
-fireworks show at Seaworld
-movies to see the Dark Knight
-pizza from Oggi's
-multiple clothes shopping trips
-book buying from B&N
-visiting Birch Aquarium
-renting movies and having snacks at home
-beach day of surfing and boogie boarding
-two jiu jitsu classes
and that is all I can remember over the past 4 and 1/2 days, I am sure there is more!!

Still to come are:
-indoor rock climbing gym
-another movie
-more clothes shopping
-Phil's BBQ dinner

All this over an 8 day visit. I better never ever hear any complaining out of them about "we never do anything."

  1. You know they never say that. They say, "We want to come to your house. We never do anything at home."
