This morning I was making breakfast and I was looking out the window and saw a bird in the trees that caught my eye and I thought, "I wonder what kind of bird that is. Where is my Field Guide to Western Birds book?"
I found it pretty quickly and after thumbing through a few plates my best guess is it was a Mexican Jay (too late for a 4/20 joke)
That was when I had realized I had taken one step closer to official craziness.
What to all the world's weirdos have in common as a hobby?
Bird watching.
They just say that they're bird watching. They're really just voyeurs.
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping short of diving into bird watching as a hobby. You'd be 100% on your own with that one.
Yeah, they're just stalking people. Try to avoid that, if you can...
ReplyDeleteI was going to start bird watching last night. In the dark. Through a scope. At 11:50PM, when these birds were going CRAZY outside my window while I was trying to fall asleep! One of them sounded exactly like that noise the phone makes when you leave it off the hook. Very weird. I hope they don't plan a repeat performance this evening!
Ugh, I just heard the first chirp!
