Now that I train jiu jitsu frequently and cross train for it as well it seems I am always sore. A change in philosophy about my training has me now focusing on how I take advantage of my recovery period. So my diet and rest has a new focus on my recovery rather than my active stage. It seems to be working great.
As part of that I am using a product called Endurasoak that I purchased from www.oasisrecoverysystesms.com. They seem to be marketing primarily to runners but I don't think you have to be an endurance athlete to take advantage of the product.
In my email communication with them they have been pleasant and helpful, I got free shipping and they seem genuinely interested in my physical performance. Nice to deal with real people, here in the USA when using a niche product. You can also friend them on Facebook.
I used both the peppermint and the lemon. I tried the lemon first and noticed only a small difference over a plain epsom salt bath. I tried the peppermint secondly and was blown away. I didn't want to get out of the bath!
Now if you're thinking to yourself this is a glorified bath-bomb from Bed, Bath & Beyond I couldn't fault you. But this is made for an athletic purpose, not just to make you smell nice and feel refreshed. But i have to say, it did that as well. I am 100% sold on the peppermint as an active part of the recovery portion of my training.
+great smelling, both kinds
+resealable packaging
+customer service
+does what it is intended too
-small packages. I would like something twice this size pound wise.
-it sometimes doesn't dissolve all the way leaving a few colored crystals in the bottom of the tub. These do wash right away when you shower next though.
4/5 ****/***** Give it a try if you need help with your athletic recovery.
