I am sick at home today with a stupid cold. So in between killing time and brain cells with large doses of NyQuil I took a "Character Strength Study" for a friend of a friend's research project.
Here are my results, ranking my greatest character strengths to my weakest.
1. love of learning
2. curiosity and interest in the world
3. social intelligence
4. bravery and valor
5. humor and playfulness
6. kindness and generosity
7. gratitude
8. judgment, critical thinking and open mindedness
9. creativity, ingenuity and originality
10. spirituality, faith and sense of purpose
11. industry, diligence and perseverance
12. appreciation of beauty and excellence
13. honesty, authenticity and genuiness
14. hope, optimism and future-mindedness
15. zest, enthusiasm and energy
16. wisdom
17. capacity to love and be loved
18. self-control and self-regulation
19. fairness, equity and justice
20. caution, prudence and discretion
Hmmmmm, interesting. Some of this I knew intrinsically and could have totally predicted it. Other results I am not so sure about, thinking that maybe short term things in my life may have effected my answers.
What do you think?
