Hopefully it is true....

....that what goes around, comes around. Or you reap what you sow. You have to give to get, and so on.

Driving up to the ATM of one my banks last night I noticed something different. I had stopped my truck at the drive-through ATM and was getting my card out when I noticed it appeared the ATM was already running. Hmm, my card is still in my hand but from the screen it looks ready to go..?

I press some buttons and out comes a card! Yikes!! Someone had left the ATM with their card in it still and everything still up and running. They must be coming back soon as they couldn't have been gone very long. Right?

Wrong. I did my business and waited for 10 minutes, thinking of what to do. And by what to do I mean, how best to get the card back to soon to be frantic owner. After not seeing anyone drive up or anything I walked into the branch and gave it to a banker with a simple, "I found this outside at the drive up ATM." and then I walked out.

So, Miss or Mrs KBR (hahaha, oh that's funny to me) I hope you got your debit card back.

I also hope that what goes around comes around. So even if you never were admonished as a Boy Scout to "do a good turn daily", I hope the next time you can 'take the money and run' or 'do the right thing' that you do the right thing.
