ah, the joys of eating on Convoy...

So for fun, just thought would pick a random place that happened to be close to right that very second on Convoy for dinner last night.

BBQ Torimaru. Or a little bit of Korea and a little bit of fried chicken all mixed up and stirred together. It is like the Asian anti-KFC I guess.....

I ate pretty tamely, dduk-bokki and two types of fried chicken. The food was yummy, the service was friendly and the only negative was getting all the stares for being the only Caucasian there.

Look at these pics and try not to be hungry.

Was this a chain when you went? I can't find BBQ Tormaru but I find BBQ Chicken at that address. Have you been back there, I will be coming from Albuquerque, New Mexico to try Korean Chicken...Thanks, Sr Plata

  2. Yep, that is it. I think they confusingly use both names. It did not appear to be a chain to me. I have not been back to this place in a while. There are soo many Korean, Japanese and Chinese places on that street I rarely feel the need to double up on a place. Enjoy it on your visit!
