I graduated from college with my BS just over 10 years ago, 2002. And since about 2009 I haven't had a consistent job requiring any regular thought, critical thinking or intelligence.
My thought process gets of no higher order than deciding what to eat, how fast to do something on a two wheeled vehicle and counting reps during exercise. My brain muscle is soft. Not strong, like bull.
On top of it, I have a lot of free time and no real outside requirements on me about being anywhere at any given time.
Thankfully I've learned to be a self starter, otherwise I'd have spent the last 4 years eating candy and watching cartoons. So yeah, if you've read any of my blog or know me in real life, you do know I keep busy doing "stuff", it just happens to normally be recreation based and whatever I want.
While only the tiniest bit, that is going to change August 19th. I have enrolled and paid for two classes at Mesa College, a local community college here in San Diego. Yes, I know I've already earned a degree and taken classes harder than offered here, but that was in the past. Remember, my brain muscle hasn't been used in a loooong time.
For Fall 2013 semester my Tuesdays and Thursdays each week will be spent all day at school dealing with Basic Algebra and Geometry in the afternoons and Introduction to Digital Imaging in the morning. No need to add a PE class, though I wanted. And I guess I could have thrown in a Spanish class as well to keep what little I do know sharp, but let's test the waters first with these two classes.
My blood type is A+, I wonder what my grade type will be??
