Don't be an askhole. Yep, I think you can figure out what two words are smushed together to form this new word, so no need to draw you a picture.
Askhole: A person who asks your advice or opinion and consistently and immediately disregards it, often providing a counter-point to further their own opinion.
Friends normally trust friends. Often someone sees something form a different vantage point you can appreciate with a little open mindedness. If you value your friends enough to ask them for advice or opinion then freaking listen to it.
Do not be an askhole as you risk the people in your life tiring of your reaction and no longer caring to give you honest feedback. If you're not going to listen, think and possibly change your mind then stop asking a question where you know you only want to hear the answer you've already made up in your mind.
As a friend I'm telling you, stop it already!

Agree 100%. This is why I rarely ask advice from friends and just blog about it and see what people say. I really like the varied advice from people in different places in their lives.
