Time Travel

Normally my time travel machine works OK. I get into it, lay down and boom, I open my eyes and it's seven hours into the future.

But thanks to a trip to the oral surgeon I was only able to sleep from 1am until 3am. Yeah, not even 3 Vicoden and being totally comfortable on the couch helped.

I sure hope this doesn't happen tonight. Really though, everyone is tired so I should just shut up about it and do what I need to do. We're all tired. Hopefully this most recent cause is a transient one.

    Haha sleep is the time travel machine? Smart thinking. I time traveled too much last night/this morning.

    The machine is my bed. Sleep is the process by which it happens. Great, now my secret is out. And speaking of, go see "Safety Not Guaranteed" for a sweet, fun, smart movie.

The housekeeper said today I look like a gangster or mafioso. Do you agree? So I posted on FB a picture of my agility ladder and talked about how I use it for training for shooting. Most people kind of questioned it or dismissed it outright. Then I see a famous person posts a video of him today on FB using one and everyone thinks it's a great new idea. 80% of individuals with MCI convert to AD within 3 to 7 years. Having both APOE4 allelles increases your risk 12 fold. Diagnosed with MCI this year. Amyloid PET scan in August. 3 to 7 years to Alzheimer's disease? That is frightening.
