lesson learned.....

1. It is not what you know, it is "who" you know. This is especially the case if you want a job or a favor. We will see if the job situation changes for me in the next few weeks based on who I know.

2. Don't talk about people. Last night at dinner I was 'talking' about someone and guess what? I bit the end of my tongue very hard, so much so that it bled for 8 minutes and is still sore the next morning.

3. If it is too easy, then it isn't worth it. So I stopped reading the book weeks ago in EMT class. I also stopped doing the homework in a meaningful manner, just copying the answers from the back. And yet I am still passing all the tests and such. Others in the class have to read, reread, make flash cards, highlight stuff and so on. They put out soo much effort and struggle to pass while I do not even the minimum and I pass easily. (I am averaging 89% on tests, 92% on quizzes and 95% on homework) Things that are too easy rarely hold my attention and thus are rarely worth it. I am glad I am hopefully only using this to bolder my PA school application. (PA school will of course be challenging!)
