P. B. D. and I had dinner at the Brigantine in Del Mar at 7:00PM. It was great, I really liked the cioppino. And we got out of there for only $90 for two of us.
Then it was off to Bing Crosby's in Fashion Valley for music, drinks and dancing. Well no dancing, there wasn't really room. A bar/lounge isn't the best place for me to be but I totally behaved. And that is good. P. also knew the entertainment at the spot, so that was nice to. Just a good time with good friends.
And then..................
It was 10:35PM and I was totally tired. 12:00 I can't tell you what was happening then as I was home totally asleep in bed. HAHAHA. I guess it's cause I had no fireworks to shoot off. (Which will be rectified by my drive through Las Vegas Friday!!)
Recap of some feelings from 2008:
1. I learned to like trail running
2. Having health insurance where I had to pay ZERO for two weeks in the hospital is amazingly nice
3. My time in Iraq has a huge hold on me, brief as it was in 2007.
4. If I hadn't stopped doing jiu jitsu when I did I would be a black belt now. Such regret.
5. I love the ocean and the sun and good weather.
There are so many more, but this is it for now.
