Alright, sorry for the short 'twitter' like posts. I am now in Brooklyn Heights. It's a nice brownstone type suurban area. I think it was really the first suburb of NYC. I also got a really good view of the skyline as we flew in. A good start to my NYC visit.
My initial impression was that I would rather live in Baghdad again than NYC, but it really isn't that bad. It is just a lifestyle I am not used to, that is all. Not my prefered, but not as bad as I thought.
