Update

Wednesday was a job interview and supermoto track day, as you saw by the pictures.
Thursday was visiting some church folks and getting supplies for the retaining wall I built for the house.
Friday was getting some more supplies for the retaining wall and doing all the prep work on the ground and flora.

K's visit began Friday evening as well. K, D and myself all went out to Phil's BBQ for dinner once K landed. It of course was a little bit of a wait, but delicious! I always get the babyback ribs and chikless dinner with beans and cole slaw. Now I need to try something different.

D went home to rest up for the St. Patrick's day run and K and I went to 10,000 B.C.I fell asleep twice during it but K liked it. It was too much love story and not enough action for me. Just my opinion.

Saturday we started early with D at the 4mile race/walk thing at 7am and K and I starting to build the retaining wall. It was tough work and we worked hard for 4 hours. Then lunch of yummy pizza!!! At that point K had had enough of hard physical labor and I released him.

Fortunately a neighbor came down and realizing that it would rain sometime in the evening, we needed to work hard together and get it done. We did, sweeping up the last of the back fill dirt as the heavens opened and dumped on us! Perfect timing!

A quick clean up and off to the shooting range with K. For not doing it often and with no real instruction he did just fine. D is still my star pupil though, when it comes to shooting.

A neighbor also had an "Ides of March" party to celebrate a new pavilion they had built onto the back of their place. Since they have a very distinct Mediterranean decorative style, it all worked out. I was totally beat from my day's exertion so I left right after dinner, but it was a good evening out.

So there you go, you are caught up now. I will have some pictures up soon. =)

Tomorrow of course is another busy busy day......... Hopefully I have some good job news soon.....
