You can be like this or you can be like that

You can be like this while you are waiting around before or after your surgery. All calm, covered and serene.

Or you can be like "that" patient, sitting up, smiling, gown off, eating a sandwich. Clearly enjoying the pre surgery medications. And saying things quite loudly such as, "Oh I'll be right here, with no underwear on!"



To end on an equally enjoyable note the procedure went well. The two fistula tracts were demonstrated and then successfully filled with the fibrin glue. I can eat right away. One week off of severe physical activity and I think I remember them saying I could get in the water in one weeks time as well!!!

I feel better right now but who knows the real cause. I do know it can take up to 8 weeks and multiple treatments like this to get it to work finally. But right now, things a great!!
