From my GI doctor's email to me today,
"Regarding your surgery, I agree with resection of the apparent short stricture. I'm a little less convinced that you need the gastric surgery, but I will discuss with the surgeon."
So, two out of two doctors recommend I have surgery. Now they just have to decide how much to cut out, how to cut it out and where exactly. And decide about my newly diagnosed stomach issue as well. (and if they want any more imaging tests beforehand as well)
Ok, now that everyone is on board they are gonna cut me open, let's do this! Sooner rather than later.
