TODAY I WAS AWARDED MY BLUE BELT IN BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU FROM FABIO SANTOS!!!!!!!!!!!
I AM TOTALLY HUMBLED BY IT AND THE WEIGHT OF IT IS HEAVY ON MY SHOULDERS (OR HIPS).
I STARTED AT THE ACADAMEY MAY 10 OF THIS YEAR AND GOT MY BELT TODAY, AUGUST 27, 2008.
TRAINING 3 DAYS A WEEK AT LEAST, EVERY WEEK FOR FOUR MONTHS. WOW. (but I really had been training off and on with friends for years. this is my first real formal bjj instruction)
THOSE WEREN'T TEARS, MY EYES WERE JUST SWEATING.
