Medications I am taking for an infection on my wrist are causing me serious issues. Drug induced peripheral neuropathy.
Basically my nerves in my hands and feet are being destroyed by the medication. More strongly in my hands than in my feet.
The back of my hands feel as if they are simultaneously on fire and "pins and needles" tingling. The toes in both feet feel tingly and they mildly feel "on fire" in comparison to the inferno on my hands.
Sunshine, water, pressure. All of those things make my hands cry out in agony. Taking a shower that barely is warm enough to keep me from shivering it still too painful to have my hands in for more than a second.
One medication is done in two days, another in 18. I hope my hands and feet return to normal quickly! The pain is getting to be to the point where I can no longer just ignore it.
