trying vrs doing

I've heard it said before, "Trying is failing, doing is succeeding."

Monday I have a meeting with an admissions person to get into the EMT-B (Emergency Medical Technician-Basic) program and one of the tech/vocational schools here in San Diego.

8 weeks of classes, $1,000 and a few clinical days later I am able to take the national test. Then hopefully I have a freaking job doing it! If not, I'll just add it to the resume for reapplication to PA school in September.

No matter what, I'll come out OK.
