one of my brazilian friends said, "you gotta suffer to learn" about learning brazilian jiu jitsu.
as i sit here with my face cut and abraded, a finger in a splint, ice on a elbow and a ankle soaking in hot epsom salt water i must have learned quite a bit tonight at open mat!!
