crash II

It was my neighbor's drunk daughter who hit me. She doesn't want to involve insurance. They want to have some mobile dent repair guy fix it. I will take his estimate and get two of my own.

I have this uneasy feeling they think it's going to be some $100 fix and they will be done with it. I don't think it's going to be that easy. Time to get estimates tomorrow....

If anything I have a saved voicemail message with her admitting fault...

Ugh, I hate stuff like this. As much as I hate 3 paragraphs of my writing all starting with the same letter.

crash

A guest at my neighbors backed their SUV into me. First someone 'keys' the Lexus and now the Acura gets a bumper remodel.

Since they didn't leave me a note, I left my neighbor one. We spoke this morning at like 0650 and she assures me it will get taken care of.

One time, I hit someone in a parking lot, it cost me $3,300. My entire savings at the time. I had moved and didn't really take care of my personal business that well and not receiving any car insurance bills I had lapsed and was without coverage. Better to have found out that way than hitting someone on the freeway and totalling my car and killing someone. What a "lesson" that would have been.....

All I know is my car better get fixed and I shouldn't be the one to pay for it. She did try saying it was the result of a poor parking job but I countered that with "and if I had been parallel parked behind you?"

I hate little crappy things like this. They always seem to grow and snowball when you don't want them to.

SUN??day in SUN?? Diego

I hate this wind and rain. I left the Pacific Northwest for that specific reason, to get away from such nonsense. I even remember a Scripps HR woman telling me, "We pay you in sunshine," to explain the low wages here for nuclear medicine. What crap. I do still live in San Diego right??

Beyond that I spoke for 20 minutes in church today about prayer and the answers to prayers. It went well, but I could have spoken even longer.

I want the sun back!!
Sunset in Costa Rica, taken by me.

I will never get tired of cinnamon bears

That was true before and it is true still. Even after I've eaten 1/4 pound of them for "lunch."
