Resolve
No not the carpet cleaner, but dealing with a rug of sorts......
This year I will never ever ever shave my head myself. I may have it cut short, but never bbbbbuuuuzzzzed all the way off like I am soooo wont to do.
Reasoning or madness behind this decision? Pure vanity. I get told I look younger when my hair is longer.
Adios frequently buzzed hair from 1999-2009!!!

Due to FS's joy in skiing, the academy was closed from the week before Xmas until today. So for me that was about 3 weeks off with zero jiu jitsu training.
Ask anyone around me at that time, I went through serious withdrawals!! Just like any addiction, I only see what I like out of it, don't see the money I spend, the time I put into it, how much of my casual though it monopolizes and sometimes even the damage it does to my body.
I just love it. It will be great to go back and knock the rust off from almost a month off.
Like all the cheerleaders say, " Let's get a little bit rowdy, R. O. W. D. Y!!!!!"

Dear Readers:
I need to make a career change. In this case I actually need some sort of career. Notice I said career and not job. They are very very different.
I worked in a grocery store as a produce clerk for 8 years.
My degree is a BS in Radiologic Science with the Nuclear Medicine option.
I worked as a nuc med tech for 5 years, but at many different facilities.
I have had short stints as some sort of health physicist or radiation safety officer as well. With some of that being work in Iraq and Kuwait.
Oh, and time as a bicycle mechanic. And I have my EMT-B certificate.
I like talking to people. I like being outside. I like freedom. I like making decisions.
I dislike wearing a suit. I dislike high pressure when I'm not the one in control. I dislike sitting at a desk or computer for extended periods of time.
So dear readers, what do you think is something I could transition to with the education and work experience I currently have? I'm willing to get retraining or a different degree.
The only caveat is it has to be in San Diego. Remember, career and not "job".

ah, the joys of eating on Convoy...
So for fun, just thought would pick a random place that happened to be close to right that very second on Convoy for dinner last night.
BBQ Torimaru. Or a little bit of Korea and a little bit of fried chicken all mixed up and stirred together. It is like the Asian anti-KFC I guess.....
I ate pretty tamely, dduk-bokki and two types of fried chicken. The food was yummy, the service was friendly and the only negative was getting all the stares for being the only Caucasian there.
Look at these pics and try not to be hungry.
