Coming attractions

I have some things I'm looking forward to doing in Feb and March, so here is a list of them just to keep my buzz of anticipation going!

Feb 9-12-visit OJ and family in Utah for a birthday party.

Feb 16-go to Crystal Method concert here in Little Rock.

Feb 18-24-attend Gunsite with super Dave-O for a bolt action rifle class in Arizona.

Mar 3-6- compete in the LA state IDPA championship. hit a USPSA match on the way home. eat cajun food.

Mar 12-15- spend two days in private training with Elias Frangoulis, multi time world champ, here at my home range.

March 31- compete in a level 3, charity, IDPA match in Hot Springs AR

The housekeeper said today I look like a gangster or mafioso. Do you agree? So I posted on FB a picture of my agility ladder and talked about how I use it for training for shooting. Most people kind of questioned it or dismissed it outright. Then I see a famous person posts a video of him today on FB using one and everyone thinks it's a great new idea. This actually makes me kinda angry. I don't like being dismissed or marginalized because my thoughts and ideas come from me, and not from someone "famous". Cause you know what, he isn't any better or smarter than I am. In any way. And just like MM93 grew up to take down VR46 I'm gonna do the same to all those who are at the top right now. Everyone is gonna know it and see it. Then there will be no doubting.

As most of you know, I am learning to swim in my 30's. This got me to thinking about things I should have learned as a male growing up and what are the skills or knowledge that every man should know. 80% of individuals with MCI convert to AD within 3 to 7 years. Having both APOE4 allelles increases your risk 12 fold. Diagnosed with MCI this year. Amyloid PET scan in August. 3 to 7 years to Alzheimer's disease? That is frightening.
