Why? Surely a sandwich place called "Divine Pastabilites" would have something, even for someone watching what they ate...?

When your meal consists of a 12" garlic roll hollowed out and filled with your choice of pasta, there is no way you're gonna make weight my friend! Unless that is you are going up a weight class!
The place is near the Point Loma Kaiser, off the south side of Midway. Look for a silly karate school and you are right there.
It is clean inside, small, very simple. The night I was there was all a younger crowd, but not like a crazy PB young crowd. If you are there, I think you are there to eat and drink. To the fullest.
So basically you sit down and decide your level of fullness, 6" or 12". Then you pick your pasta and meat filler. From as simple as spaghetti marinara, or fettuccine alfredo with broccoli to what I had, meat lovers lasagna.
For more delicate types you can get one of their delicious salads as a sandwich. Or even eat everything in a traditional manner on a plate. Normal. Boring.
If you are hungry, love carbohydrates, love pasta, love warm food then I whole heartedly commend this place!!

ReplyDeleteOn Tuesdays, they come to UCSD and sell their sandwiches at the Farmer's Market here. :) It's a nice treat in between classes.
