Vietnam is a world apart from where I just was, in Malaysia. It is louder, faster, busier, bigger, older, dustier. Crazy. And I really like it.
The hotel is super POSH. The nicest I have ever been in. (reading the biggest hit to the bank account in history as well)
Overheard, "I'm feeling as rough as a badger's backside" in a thick Scottish accent.
The flight from KL to HCMC and Hanoi went great! Very easy. I did need to eat at a BK in the HCMC airport to kinda 'reset' myself.
I now feel like going home will feel odd and that this is normal.
Tomorrow I am taking a half day cooking class. Fun. Today is wandering around Hanoi and shopping.
