Food, glorious food.

Sometimes I am reasonably healthy, sometimes not. I don't smoke at all, drink any alcohol, no coffee or tea, no drugs. But I do like "bad" foods like candy, soda pop, pizza and mexican food.

For about half the week I was just having two slices of wheat toast and a smoothie made from non-fat milk, banana, raspberries and blueberries. That's it. Delicious and nutritious but not really satisfying to me yet.

So I broke down and had to have some "bad" food for a few of my meals. With rowdystyle nachos. Onion rings. And a breakfast extravaganza of curly fries (baked), over easy eggs, sausage and guava juice. Though there are a few token raspberries I guess in that breakfast as well.

I'm thinking a California burrito is in order now too. Why not keep the bike zooming downhill???

Report

-take Humira weekly, rather than twice a week.
-start methotrexate and cipro as well.
-get an mri enterography. and yearly
-get an upper and lower endoscopy. and yearly. possibly place a "clip" at the fistula origin site to mechanically close it.
-if i can "go solid" and also being short and thin, then probably if i did have to have surgery i wouldn't have short bowel.

so super genius made his report. gotta see what my hmo takes from it and will pay for.

happy about short bowel not happening.
unhappy about starting a drug that can give me cancer and is another shot.
unhappy about waiting more.

in my impatience i'd just like to get the surgery to close my fistulas and then start a new crohns series of drugs. but that's just me. they want me to live another 30 years, not 3.
