Happy Easter

This is what the Easter Bunny brought me! I needed cuff links now I feel so fancy!
And cuff links weren't the only jewelry I found on this Easter day.....
Playing at the park the night before, I had taken my ring off and lost it sometime I was hanging upside down. Thankfully TR had lost his wedding ring at the beach once, so he loaned me a metal detector. After church we went out to search for my ring. Pretty much within seconds of turning it on J looks down and goes, "hey, is this it?" Tah Dah, there was my ring!
What are you talking about? Me?

MY passing, that is. While I was at lunch yesterday at this thai cafe, when I walked past a table with two women I heard,

"Nice butt."

(This is where I would normally post a picture of this feature, but I am resisting for once)

nightmares do come true

One of my recurring nightmares is about my teeth crumbling apart in my mouth spontaneously and falling out, leaving me a mouth full of ragged, bony bloody messiness. Not pleasant. Dreaming of your teeth has been interpreted as differently from feeling you're not being heard to you lack faith in God.

So remember when I got my tooth broken by a girl? Remember me saying how much candy I eat? Remember me getting kneed in the face so hard last week I couldn't even close my mouth until the next day? Remember me using a $5 mouth guard now?

Well, after a trip to the dentist it all came back to haunt me like one of my nightmares. My broken front tooth has a tenuous hold on it's life and is one good bump away from being lost. My lower right molar has a larger vertical crack through it and a small amount of decay around its' circumference necessitating a crown.

I was crestfallen upon hearing the news. I wish I could just go to sleep and wake up with a mouth full of new, straight teeth that were indestructible.

The only positive is my dentist decided to make me a free custom mouth guard as she feels sorry for all the abuse my mouth seems to be taking. And I guess I am grinding and clenching at night as well.

Ugh.
